This tour was an absolute delight, Faud is such a great host so accommodating with any kind of situation he showed us the whole city with all background and we stopped by all major area’s which was truly fascinating, we wanted to end our day with some local cuisine and to my surprise faud made a few changes in the previous reservations and we got to eat the amazing Shah Pilaaf which is a must try for anyone who’s visiting. Overall an AMAZING experience, will definitely recommend the tour to each and everyone reading this, faud’s amazing photography skills are a cherry on top do bug him for that.. City tour was excellent, even though it was booked for 4 hours the tour guide was pretty relaxed and we ended up spending about 5-6hours to cover main sites. Our guide Elsever was very knowledgable and and was always with us throughout the trip to answer any questions. Very respectful and definately worth the money. This turned out to be a last minute booking, but Fuad was fantastic and set me up with Nurlan - an amazing guide. We started near the Flame Towers, walked down the Alley of Martyrs and stopped at the Fire Tower. The tour progressed through the old town and I saw the twin gates to the city, multiple statues of Azerbaijani writers and eventually the National Literature Museum (my personal favorite). Maiden Tower was great and Nurlan told me multiple theories about its original intended use. I had a very limited idea of what Baku would be like, I thought the influence of Soviet occupation would have made the city much harsher and less rich, but I was wrong. Nurlan taught me so much about the city, its history, and the beautiful people who call it home. I could not have asked for a better guide. MsMely November 2, 2021

Fuad was our guide for the City Tour in Baku and arranged everything from airport pickup and dropoff, hotel and restaurant recommendations, customized tours to fit our tight timeline, and personally took us to get our covid PCR tests prior to our return flight home. Fuad and the services of Guided Azerbaijan were highly recommended by a friend who has traveled the world extensively. When we told her how he had gone above and beyond for us, by helping us get a last-minute Visa into the country, and we said that he was a real gem, she replied "Fuad is a gem! I tell him that frequently. He will ruin you for all future guides - he’s simply the best". We only had a few days to tour Baku and the surrounding countryside, and our only regret is that we did not have more time there.
