OMGGG What an incredible trip! The Silk Road was so much more fascinating than I ever imagined. Baku was full of surprises, with its blend of modernity and tradition. The mud volcanoes and petroglyphs at Gobustan were highlights. Tbilisi’s Old Town was charming, and the Sulfur Baths were a great way to relax after a busy day. I was amazed by how much history and beauty these two countries have to offer. From the fascinating ancient petroglyphs at Gobustan to the stunning views from Narikala Fortress, every day was packed with history and culture. The visit to Gori’s Stalin Museum was especially thought-provoking. The highlight, however, was Vardzia’s cliffside monastery – it’s simply stunning. Ali, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the tour fun and engaging. His passion for the Silk Road and its history made a huge difference in how we experienced the tour.
