Itinerary
Morning: Arrive in Baku, Azerbaijan’s capital. Afternoon: Explore the Old City (Icherisheher), including the Maiden Tower and Palace of the Shirvanshahs. Enjoy panoramic views from the Flame Towers. Evening: Stroll along the Caspian Sea promenade and enjoy a traditional Azerbaijani dinner. Stay: Overnight in Baku.
Morning: Take a day trip to Gobustan National Park to see the Gobustan Petroglyphs and mud volcanoes. Afternoon: Explore more of Gobustan and return to Baku. Evening: Free time to relax or explore Baku’s lively nightlife. Stay: Overnight in Baku.
Morning: Take a flight from Baku to Tbilisi, Georgia (about 1 hour). Afternoon: Explore Old Tbilisi, visit Narikala Fortress for panoramic views, and walk through the charming streets of the old town. Evening: Relax in the famous Sulfur Baths and enjoy dinner at a local restaurant. Stay: Overnight in Tbilisi.
Morning: Visit Mtskheta, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Explore Svetitskhoveli Cathedral and Jvari Monastery. Afternoon: Continue to Uplistsikhe, an ancient rock-hewn city, to explore the caves, temples, and amphitheater. Evening: Return to Tbilisi for the evening. Stay: Overnight in Tbilisi.
Morning: Visit Gori and the Stalin Museum. Afternoon: Head to Vardzia, the stunning 12th-century cliffside monastery, and explore the ancient caves and frescoes. Evening: Return to Tbilisi for a relaxing evening. Stay: Overnight in Tbilisi.

Silk Road Wonders in Azerbaijan and Georgia
This tour offered the perfect balance of history, culture, and stunning landscapes. Baku’s Old City and the Flame Towers were amazing, and I loved the experience at Gobustan National Park. Tbilisi’s old-world charm was complemented by beautiful views from Narikala Fortress. Uplistsikhe and Vardzia were highlights that I will never forget. Ali was an exceptional guide, and I really appreciated how he brought the history to life with his stories. Thanks to him for making this a fantastic trip!

A memorable experience from start to finish
OMGGG What an incredible trip! The Silk Road was so much more fascinating than I ever imagined. Baku was full of surprises, with its blend of modernity and tradition. The mud volcanoes and petroglyphs at Gobustan were highlights. Tbilisi’s Old Town was charming, and the Sulfur Baths were a great way to relax after a busy day. Uplistsikhe and Vardzia are must-see destinations for anyone interested in history. Lamia made this journey so much more meaningful with her expertise and enthusiasm. Thanks to Lamia for making this trip truly unforgettable!

Excellent adventure and guides
I was amazed by how much history and beauty these two countries have to offer. From the fascinating ancient petroglyphs at Gobustan to the stunning views from Narikala Fortress, every day was packed with history and culture. The visit to Gori’s Stalin Museum was especially thought-provoking. The highlight, however, was Vardzia’s cliffside monastery – it’s simply stunning. Ali, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and kept the tour fun and engaging. His passion for the Silk Road and its history made a huge difference in how we experienced the tour.

Perfect arranged tour by Guidedazerbaijan
This was an incredible journey that exceeded my expectations. The blend of ancient ruins and modern cities in both Baku and Tbilisi was absolutely captivating. The visit to the mud volcanoes in Gobustan was unlike anything I’d ever seen. Tbilisi’s Old Town was so charming, and the Sulfur Baths were the perfect way to relax after a day of sightseeing. Uplistsikhe, with its rock-hewn city, was one of my favorite stops. Lamia did a fantastic job leading us through every location, offering in-depth knowledge and making the trip run smoothly. I’m so grateful for the unforgettable experience, thanks to Lamia!

A Trip Like No Other
What a fantastic adventure! I’ve traveled to many places, but this tour through Azerbaijan and Georgia stands out for its unique sites and rich cultural experiences. The Flame Towers in Baku are a must-see, and the trip to Gobustan’s ancient petroglyphs was a highlight. Georgia’s historical sites, especially Uplistsikhe, were unlike anything I’d seen before. Vardzia’s cliffside monastery felt like stepping into history. Ali was a wonderful guide, and his passion for the history of these regions made the tour truly special. I’ll always cherish the memories from this trip.
