7-Day Azerbaijan and Nakhchivan Cultural Tour

After breakfast, transfer to the airport for your flight to Nakhchivan, an autonomous enclave bordered by Armenia and Iran. This region, known as the "land of Noah," can only be reached by air. Upon arrival, check into the 4-star Tabriz Hotel. Explore Nakhchivan’s highlights, including the Momina Khatun Monument (12th century) and the Yusif Ibn Kuseyir Tomb. Visit the Carpet Museum, housed in a former Khan's home, which boasts the largest collection of traditional carpets in the world. Enjoy lunch, then travel to Garabaghlar village in the Sharur region to visit the Salt Mine Hospital, one of the world’s most unique health spas.

After breakfast, visit the Daridagh thermal spring in Julfa and enjoy a relaxing soak in its healing waters. Continue to the Asabu Kahf caves, an important pilgrimage site linked to the Seven Sleepers of Ephesus. After exploring these ancient caves, head back to Nakhchivan city for dinner. In the evening, transfer to the airport for your flight back to Baku, arriving around 10 PM. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast before heading towards the Caucasus Mountains in northwestern Azerbaijan, where the dry Baku landscape gives way to lush, forested hills. On the way, stop in Shemakha and visit the Asabu Kahf cave. Enjoy lunch in a local café before continuing to Sheki, where you'll check in at the Sheki Saray Hotel. Afterward, take a short drive to the village of Kish. Walk through its charming cobblestone streets, once a political center of ancient Christian Albanians. The village is home to the oldest church in the Caucasus, dating back to the 1st century, which now serves as a museum. Enjoy a scenic exploration of the surrounding Caucasus foothills. Dinner will be served at the traditional Chalabikhan Restaurant. Return to the hotel for the night.

After breakfast, explore Sheki’s Royal Summer Palace, which features magnificent frescoes and stained glass. Visit the Sheki Museum and Fortress, then head back to Baku. Enjoy lunch en route and arrive in Baku in the afternoon. Your evening will be spent dining at the popular Bah-Bah Club. Check into the Hotel for a comfortable overnight stay.

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before setting out for Guba, located in the northern part of Azerbaijan, near the border with Russia. Guba is famous for its apples, scenic landscapes, and carpet weaving, as well as being home to Azerbaijan’s largest Jewish settlement, the Krasnaya Sloboda. After your visit, return to Baku for dinner at a local restaurant.

On the final day of your tour, enjoy some leisure time in Baku. Explore any remaining sights or enjoy shopping in the vibrant local bazaars. Transfer to the airport for your departure.
