Description

Arriving in Baku, you'll be transferred to your hotel and enjoy a restful evening in the city. The next day starts with a visit to Highland Park, offering stunning views of Flame Towers and National Flag Square. You'll then explore the historic Old City (Icherisheher), walking through its narrow streets to see landmarks like the Maiden Tower, Juma Mosque, and Shirvanshahs' Palace, followed by a stroll along Nizami Street for shopping and local flavors. After lunch at a traditional restaurant, you'll return to your hotel. The following day takes you to Gobustan, home to thousands of ancient petroglyphs and the Gobustan Museum, followed by an adventurous trip to the Mud Volcanoes. Later, you’ll visit the sacred Ateshgah Fire Temple and the eternal flames of Yanardag (Fire Mountain). The journey continues to western Azerbaijan, starting with the Diri Baba Mausoleum and the historic Shamakhi Juma Mosque, then on to Gabala to see the peaceful Nohur Lake, the cascading Yeddi Gozal Waterfall, and the scenic Tufandag Mountain Resort. In Sheki, explore the magnificent Sheki Khan Palace, walk through the old Caravanserais, and visit the ancient Albanian Church in Kish Village. You’ll also enjoy a traditional Piti meal at a local restaurant. Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel, which is just a 20-25 minute drive from the city center. After checking in, enjoy a restful evening at the hotel in Baku, preparing for the exciting days ahead.

After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your private car and guide will pick you up to begin your Baku City Tour. The first stop is Highland Park, offering panoramic views of Baku, including major landmarks like the Flame Towers and National Flag Square. Next, you'll head to the Old City, where you'll explore iconic sites such as Maiden Tower, Juma Mosque and Shirvanshahs' Palace. After taking in the historical sights, you'll have time to stroll down Nizami Street and enjoy its vibrant shops and restaurants. Following the city tour, you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant before being transferred back to your hotel for a restful evening. The day ends with an overnight stay in Baku, ready for the next adventure.

You'll visit the Gobustan Interactive Museum to learn about the region's UNESCO World Heritage status and its fascinating history. Afterward, you'll explore Gobustan Rock Mountain, home to over 3,500 petroglyphs created by ancient humans, offering a glimpse into Azerbaijan’s prehistoric past. Next, you'll head to the Mud Volcanoes, where you can experience this unique natural phenomenon and collect mud known for its skin benefits. Following a break for lunch, you’ll visit the Fire Temple of Ateshgah, a sacred site on the Absheron Peninsula and hear about its connection to the oil industry. The day will conclude with a visit to Fire Mountain, Yanardag, where natural flames have been burning for millennia, before being transferred back to your hotel for a restful overnight stay.

The first stop will be the Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza, Gobustan, an ancient structure built in 1402, followed by a visit to the Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of the first mosques in Azerbaijan, built in 743. You'll then explore the Yeddi Gumbaz (Seven Domes), the royal mausoleums of the Shamakha khans, with gravestones dating back over a millennium. Continuing the journey, you'll arrive in Lahij, known for its traditional copper handicrafts and carpets, and explore the ancient village with its fascinating history. After leaving Lahij, you'll reach Sheki, one of the most ancient cities in Azerbaijan, with a history spanning over 2700 years. Spending the night at a hotel in Sheki.

Your first stop will be the Sheki Khan Palace, built in 1762 as a summer residence for the rulers of Sheki, where you can admire the intricate paintings and impressive architecture. Next, you'll visit the Caravanserais, two historical inns dating back to the 18th century, once used by merchants traveling the Silk Road. Your journey continues with a trip to Kish Village, where you'll visit the Albanian Church, dating back to the 1st century AD. After exploring the historical sites, you'll enjoy a traditional Sheki dish, Piti, at a local restaurant for lunch. In the evening, you’ll drive back to Baku, arriving for an overnight stay at your hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out, you'll be transferred to Heydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku (20-25 min).
