5 Days of Exploration in Baku & Beyond

After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your private car and guide will pick you up for the Baku City Tour, starting at 10:00. The first stop is Highland Park, where you can enjoy panoramic views of Baku, including landmarks like the Flame Towers, Parliament Building and National Flag Square. You’ll then explore the Old City, visiting historical sites such as the Maiden Tower, Juma Mosque and Shirvanshahs’ Palace, with optional stops at the Miniature Book Museum. Afterward, take a stroll down Nizami Street, known for its shops, restaurants, and the beautiful Fountain Square. Following a traditional lunch at a local restaurant, you’ll head to the Fire Temple Ateshgah and the natural Fire Mountain, Yanardag, where you’ll witness the continuous flames burning for millennia. After a day full of history and natural wonders, you’ll be transferred back to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.

After breakfast at the hotel, the tour begins with a visit to the northwest regions of Azerbaijan, starting with the Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza, built in 1402. You’ll then explore the historic Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of the oldest mosques in Azerbaijan, dating back to 743. Afterward, drive to Gabala, where you’ll enjoy lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the tranquil Nohur Lake, followed by a stop at the Seven Beautiful Waterfalls (Yeddi Gozal) in Vandam Village. Next, head to the Tufandag Mountain Resort, where you can enjoy the stunning views or take a ride on the cable car. After a day of exploration and adventure, return to Baku, arriving around 22:00 for an overnight stay at your hotel.

The tour starts with a pickup from your hotel and the first destination is Gobustan, an archaeological site located 56 km from Baku, famous for its rock carvings. You’ll visit the Gobustan Museum to learn about the region's history and its UNESCO World Heritage status, followed by a visit to Gobustan Rock Mountain, where you’ll see over 3,500 petroglyphs created by ancient humans. After exploring the rock carvings, the tour will continue with a visit to the Mud Volcanoes, where you can even collect mud said to be beneficial for the skin. Next, stop at the Bibiheybat Mosque, known for its beautiful green interior and the historic first industrial oil well. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant in the city center before being transferred back to your hotel or any desired location in Baku. The day ends with an overnight stay at the hotel in Baku.

After breakfast at the hotel and check-out at 12:00, you will be transferred to Heydar Aliyev International Airport. This marks the end of your tour, and you will be dropped off at the airport for your departure.
