On the day 4, explore the fascinating Diri Baba Mausoleum and Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of Azerbaijan’s oldest mosques. Upon arrival at the airport, you'll be transferred to your hotel, a 20-25 minute drive to the city center. After check-in, you can relax and enjoy your overnight stay in Baku.
After a delicious breakfast at the hotel, your private car and guide will pick you up to begin your Baku City Tour, starting with a visit to Highland Park, the highest point in Baku, where you’ll enjoy panoramic views of the city, including landmarks like the Flame Towers, Parliament Building, and Martyrs’ Lane. The tour continues with a walk through Martyrs’ Lane to the "40 Stairs," before heading to the Double Gates to begin your Old City walking tour. You’ll explore the Chain, Sailor, and Cat Houses, visit the Bukhara & Multani Caravanserais, Juma Mosque, and the iconic Maiden Tower and also have the option to visit the Miniature Book Museum (if open). Next, you’ll visit the Shirvanshahs’ Palace (entry optional), followed by a stroll through the bustling Nizami Street and Fountain Square, where you can admire the beautiful fountains and shops. Afterward, your tour will take you to Fire Temple (Ateshgah), located 30 km from Baku, where your guide will share the fascinating history of this ancient site. The final stop will be Yanardag (Fire Mountain), a natural flame that has been burning for thousands of years, before returning to your hotel for an overnight stay in Baku.

Next, you’ll visit the Red Settlement, the largest Mountain Jewish community in the former Soviet Union, known for its unique version of Judaism and the distinct Judeo-Tat language. You’ll also have the chance to explore the Carpet Weaving Factory in Quba, where you can see traditional carpets being made and purchase handmade goods and local treats like pakhlava. Afterward, the journey continues to Khinalig, Europe’s highest village, offering breathtaking views of the Caucasus mountains and ancient stone houses. After having a nice breakfast at the hotel, your journey will begin as you head to the north-west regions of Azerbaijan. The first stop will be the Diri Baba Mausoleum in Maraza, Gobustan, an ancient structure built in 1402, followed by a visit to the Shamakhi Juma Mosque, one of the first mosques in Azerbaijan, built in 743. You'll then explore the Yeddi Gumbaz (Seven Domes), the royal mausoleums of the Shamakha khans, with gravestones dating back over a millennium. Continuing the journey, you'll arrive in Lahij, known for its traditional copper handicrafts and carpets, and explore the ancient village with its fascinating history. After leaving Lahij, you'll reach Sheki, one of the most ancient cities in Azerbaijan, with a history spanning over 2700 years. In Sheki, you’ll visit the Sheki Khan Palace, built in 1762, and the Caravanserais, two historic rest stops along the Silk Road, before spending the night at a hotel in Sheki.
After breakfast and check-out from the hotel, you'll drive to Kish Village in Sheki to visit the Albanian Church, dating back to the 1st century AD. From there, you’ll continue your journey to the Balakan-Lagodekhi border, arriving at approximately 12:30-13:00. This marks the beginning of your border crossing into Georgia, with possible visits to places like Lagodekhi, Signagi, Bodbe and Tbilisi.
