This tour truly exceeded all my expectations. The journey started with the vibrant energy of Baku, where we explored the stunning Icherisheher Old City with Ali as our guide. He shared fascinating stories about the city’s rich history, and I loved learning about the significance of the Maiden Tower and Shirvanshahs' Palace. After spending time in the city, we ventured to Gobustan National Park, where the ancient petroglyphs and volcanic mud formations were nothing short of surreal. The contrast between the modernity of Baku and the ancient sites of Gobustan was incredible. Sheki, with its lush mountains and historical significance, was an absolute highlight of the trip. Lamia guided us through the Sheki Khan’s Palace, and her passion for the region’s history made the visit even more special. The visit to Mamirli Waterfall was such a peaceful escape, and I appreciated the time we spent in Gakh, soaking in the natural beauty.
