I was amazed by the historical significance of Shamakhi and Lahij. The highlight for me was visiting Lahij and witnessing the artisans at work, crafting copperware using traditional methods. The villages are breathtaking, and the ancient monuments are simply awe-inspiring. The most interesting part for me was the copper craftsmanship in Lahij – you can see the centuries of tradition alive in each piece. GuidedAzerbaijan made everything smooth and comfortable.

I had the pleasure of taking the tour with Fuad, and it was nothing short of amazing. The day began with a scenic drive along the Caspian coast, which was already a great introduction to the natural beauty of Azerbaijan. Fuad made the long journey feel shorter with his engaging stories about the history and culture of the country. When we arrived at Hirkan National Park, I was blown away by the lush greenery and the peaceful atmosphere. The eerie visit to Stalin's Lighthouse Prison was eye-opening, and Fuad made sure we understood the historical significance of the site. I particularly enjoyed learning about the tea culture during our visit to the tea plantation, and the local tea was delicious.
