From the ancient Atashgah Fire Temple to the unique mud volcanoes at Gobustan, every stop was filled with historical significance. Elnara, our guide, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about sharing the rich heritage of the region. Mardakan Castle offered stunning views of the Caspian Sea and provided a fascinating glimpse into the area's military past. Shahdili village was so charming, and the relaxed atmosphere at Shahdili Beach was the perfect way to unwind. The Absheron Nature Reserve was a peaceful escape, and we saw so many migratory birds. The journey was seamless, and the services provided by GuidedAzerbaijan were impeccable, making this a perfect two-day cultural getaway.

Visiting the copperware workshops was a real highlight—seeing the intricate handcrafting process up close was mesmerizing. The pottery and carpet workshops were equally fascinating. Lahij was one of the most memorable parts of my Azerbaijan visit. Our guide Ali made sure to point out key sights along the way. I was particularly fascinated by the copperware workshops, where I could see artisans shaping beautiful pieces right in front of me. The pottery-making process was just as intriguing, and I was able to buy a beautiful vase to take home. The local market was a perfect place to shop for souvenirs. My visit to Lahij was a perfect mix of history, culture, and craftsmanship. The tour started with a comfortable ride from Baku, offering stunning views of the Azerbaijani mountains. Our guide, Fuad, was fantastic—he shared fascinating stories about Lahij’s centuries-old traditions. I loved watching the artisans at work, especially the copperware makers and the potters who use age-old techniques. The State Reserve gave us a deeper understanding of Lahij’s importance in Azerbaijani heritage. The lunch was delicious, and the traditional Azerbaijani dishes were a treat.
