I loved visiting the Atashgah Fire Temple, where I learned about the ancient Zoroastrian religion. Gobustan was incredible, with its petroglyphs and mud volcanoes—so unique to Azerbaijan. Our guide, was excellent, making each stop interesting and engaging. Mardakan castle gave us great views of the sea, and shahdili village was very charming. The beach offered a nice spot to relax, and the Absheron nature reserve was peaceful and beautiful.
