The Candy Cane Mountains tour was an incredible adventure. As someone who enjoys geology, I was fascinated by the prehistoric fossils embedded in the rocks, and our guide, Fuad, did a fantastic job explaining the history behind them. The colors of the mountains were mesmerizing, and I couldn’t stop taking photos of the vibrant reds and pinks. The hike was moderate, with some challenging sections, but it was so rewarding. I highly recommend this experience to anyone interested in history, geology, or outdoor adventure.
The Candy Cane Mountains are a photographer’s paradise! The vivid colors of the shale mountains, with their red, pink, and white tones, make for stunning photographs. The tour was organized by Guided Azerbaijan, and our guide Ali was excellent, ensuring we had plenty of time to take in the views and capture the beauty of the surroundings. I had the best time exploring the Old City’s souvenir markets, where I found some truly special items, including a gorgeous handwoven carpet. The market is full of treasures that reflect Azerbaijan’s deep cultural heritage. Elnara was our guide and provided us with insightful details about the history of the items we saw, making the experience all the more enjoyable. This tour was a great way to take home a piece of Baku's history. I would recommend this to anyone visiting Baku!
Taza Bazaar was a vibrant and bustling market where I could truly experience Baku's local life. I purchased fresh produce and enjoyed walking around the food stalls. The variety of spices, dried fruits, and local specialties like honey was amazing. I loved the atmosphere of the market, and it was a great way to get a taste of Azerbaijani culture.
The view from Daniz Mall in Baku overlooking the Caspian Sea was simply breathtaking. I enjoyed walking through the mall, shopping for clothes, and sampling delicious food in the food court. The mall’s modern design is really impressive, and it felt like a perfect mix of luxury and comfort.
I really enjoyed my trip to the Old City of Baku. The handcrafted textiles and copperware were particularly impressive. I bought a beautiful kelaghayi scarf as a gift, and I was amazed at the level of detail and craftsmanship. Elnara was an excellent guide, sharing not just the history but also the significance of the items we saw. The whole experience was enlightening, and I’d recommend it to anyone interested in Azerbaijani culture and craftsmanship.
